FYLD, an AI-driven fieldwork execution platform, continues its expansion into Latin America with the appointment of David Lamadrid as the Account Director for Mexico. This strategic move underscores FYLD’s commitment to broadening its influence in key markets following successful operations in Chile. David brings over a decade of experience in sales, business services, and operations across North and South America to his new role. An entrepreneurial spirit, he is also fully bilingual in English and Spanish and also speaks Portuguese. David holds a B.S. in Business Management with a Corporate Finance emphasis from Brigham Young University.
“I am excited to join FYLD and contribute to its growth in the Latin American market,” David says. “My goal is to leverage my experience in sales and operations to drive adoption of FYLD in Mexico. In Latin America, there’s never been a more important time to embrace technological innovation and I see plenty of areas where innovation can help, one such example is Mexico which is currently facing an issue with its transmission lines as the demand for energy, particularly during the recent rise in heat, has exceeded the generation capacity of the old infrastructure. This stems from the lack of government grants for new generation permits in the country over a sustained period, although thankfully investment in this sector is seemingly imminent. Being able to bring FYLD and the opportunities that it provides to help modernize and streamline the Mexican infrastructure is a privilege.
From my perspective, FYLD leads the charge in innovating fieldwork practices within the infrastructure sector, driving significant change by seamlessly incorporating AI into workflows. Our product strategy, rooted in data-driven fieldwork execution excellence, enables clients to anticipate risks and proactively avert potential disruptions to field operations. Predictive work outcomes are already elevating our platform’s intelligence and insights, providing remote managers with early indicators of specific jobs or operations at risk of non-delivery. I’m passionate about new technologies and helping customers streamline their workflow for more efficient, productive, and safer operations.”
“I see FYLD having an impact in the water, energy, utilities and construction sectors in Latin America much like it is already having in other areas across the world,” he continues.
Drawing from his profound understanding of industry challenges, he aims to introduce transformative AI technology to enhance safety and productivity in fieldwork operations. “I’m passionate about new technologies and helping customers to streamline their workflows for more efficient, productive, and safer operations,” David shares.
“David has exceptional experience and a proven track record in sales and operations across diverse markets in North and South America,” says Shelley, FYLD’s CEO. “His ability to navigate tightly regulated industries and successfully scale up innovative products makes him a perfect fit for our team. David’s entrepreneurial spirit will be invaluable as we continue to expand in Latin America. We are confident in his ability to drive significant growth and innovation for FYLD in Mexico, helping us to further our mission of revolutionising fieldwork practices through AI.”
Outside of work, David is a passionate traveller, photographer, Formula 1 enthusiast, and most importantly, a self-professed ‘Foodie’. He also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
